MetaLab was started in 2025 with a single thesis: the next decade of digital businesses will be built around encoded human expertise, and the studios fast enough to build them will own outsized leverage.
The founder
Thomas Labarriere
I build mobile apps with world-class experts, among them Zydrunas Savickas, four-time World's Strongest Man. My starting point is simple: an expert spends a lifetime refining a method, yet it can only be passed on one person at a time. I turn it into a product that can reach thousands, without the expert having to deal with the technology or take on any risk.
That is what convinces partners like Zydrunas to follow me: a partner who funds and builds everything, and who treats their knowledge with the same care they do. I carry the vision, the product and the quality bar. The expert stays the expert: they keep their name, their method, and earn a share of the revenue year after year.
My conviction: today, building software is no longer the problem, because the technology has become accessible to everyone. What remains rare is judgment: choosing the right problems, the right people, and the right moment. I founded MetaLab around that idea.
The studio moves forward through a small number of carefully chosen partnerships. I design every app as a durable asset, built and run by MetaLab, made to keep the expert's method alive for years.

Three things converged in late 2025: the cost of building production-grade mobile and AI systems collapsed; the supply of world-class experts looking to digitalize their methodology grew; and the tools to do both at studio-grade quality became accessible to small operators.
The window for building studios that ship fast and own real digital assets, instead of charging for time, is open right now. It will not stay open forever.
MetaLab exists to operate inside that window with discipline and selectivity, while it lasts.

MetaLab is registered in Estonia for international flexibility. We operate where the work demands: the UK, Lithuania, the USA, France, wherever a partnership requires presence.

No external capital. No board pressure. Every decision is made for long-term compounding, not for next quarter's metric.

Each partner sees the financials of their own studio every month. There are no hidden costs, no inflated overheads, no surprises.

Three apps launch in 2026, each with a world-class expert. After that, we expand selectively, adding new partnerships only when an existing one is generating proven traction.
